The Elecnor Foundation organizes, as part of the mentioned collaboration agreement with the Higher Technical School of Industrial Engineers (ETSII) of UPM, a visit for first-year Master’s students in Industrial Engineering, specializing in Electrical and Energy Engineering, to the solar thermal plants that Celeo, a subsidiary of the Elecnor Group, operates in Ciudad Real.

Elecnor Group staff explained to the students the operation of a parabolic trough solar thermal plant and its construction process, paying special attention to occupational risk prevention. Finally, the students visited ASTE 1A and ASTE 1B accompanied by Elecnor’s maintenance and operations personnel.
