The Ayuda en Acción and Elecnor Foundations sign a cooperation agreement in the sphere of sustainability
Ayuda en Acción and the Elecnor Foundation have signed a framework agreement to work together to identify and develop projects in Latin America and Africa, continents where both have strong track records in implementing cooperation and development programmes. Under this agreement, the foundations will mainly work on initiatives involving water, renewable energy use, basic housing and the sustainable management of natural resources.
The ultimate objective is to improve living conditions and create opportunities to generate wealth for the most vulnerable people in developing countries. An effort will also be made to improve the skills of local leaders through training.
The agreement was signed by Jaime Montalvo, President of Ayuda en Acción, and Fernando Azaola, Chairman of the Elecnor Foundation.
