We participate in the Deusto Business School and ICADE Business School cycle of conferences
Deusto Business School and ICADE Business School have held the first public-private Dialogue, an event which is part of the cycle of conferences in the Public and Corporate Leadership Programmes in Entrepreneurship and Innovation (PLPE and PLCE) sponsored by the Elecnor Foundation. The aim of this initiative is to deal with various issues in the business world from two different perspectives; that of a large corporation and that of a public manager.
The event was introduced by the Head of the Deusto Business School, Almudena Eizaguirre, with the participation of Jon Blázquez representing the Elecnor Group later on in the opening ceremony. Jon had the opportunity to highlight the deployment of the Group’s digitalisation domestically and internationally.
Roberto Sánchez, Secretary of State for Telecommunications and Digital Infrastructures, and Christian Gardiner, Head of SAS for Iberia, spoke about their view of issues such as digital environments, data management and analytics, among others.
First to take the floor was the Secretary of State, who wanted to start by referring to the “atypical” times that we are going through, coming out of a pandemic and in the midst of a very worrying armed conflict. And he went on to highlight the importance of strengthening public-private collaboration. As an example of the benefits arising from this collaboration, he mentioned the efficiency demonstrated by the activities being conducted with Next Generation funds.
In the same vein, the head of SAS pointed out the potential that public-private collaboration holds for the government itself, explaining how advanced analytics and conversion of pure data into operational intelligence have become the stimulus allowing for the start-up of innovative projects thanks to greater agility in decision-making.
