16/02/2016

Recently, the third Elecnor Foundation Specialist Course in Low and Medium-Voltage Electrical Installations at the Salesianos Deusto College (Bilbao) came to an end.

This course provided a further excellent opportunity for vocational training students of electricity distribution in the standard grade to complete their training, making them better prepared to work in the electricity sector in the future. It was a 60-hour course divided into theory classes, hands-on classes and a visit to real-life Elecnor facilities. 13 students will be participating in this third edition, all of whom are currently working.

The closing ceremony of this edition ended with traditional awarding of the diplomas to the students, as well as a prize worth 500 for the best student, Gaizka Azcurreta Goreaga, who when collecting the prize highlighted how much help this training course meant in forming part of the job market. The day also served to reveal the new group of students. A fourth edition of the course will begin this February.

The event was presented by Ignacio Prado, Trustee and Secretary of the Elecnor Foundation; Ana Isabel Ferri Basualdo, Local Government Official for Education, Vizcaya, and Isaac Diez, Dean of the Salesianos Deusto College.
